bmw business cd...upgrading

hi there...wish to get some input here if u dont mind. I owned an e46 jap specs 04 model. Car is funtastic. yesterday the on off button of my business cd doesnt work. always on all the time . luckily volume control is ok...q: can it be repaired, estimated cost, whereq: if i plan to upgrade it to ...sth with screen, gps.etc etc.. what model /brand that u ppl suggest..tqvm

my on off button is kaput already...can only control the volume...it is on all the time unless i switch off the engine...can it be fixed?... btw where to get those nice unit..looks bigger than the standard unit..wonder if it can go in? any good shop to go? price range?
