dear all,i got this forumer informing that he is a car dealer who selling car from Singapore with a 'halal' jpj registration card, puspakom,insurance and Kastam. he claim that the car brought in to Malaysia by JB and the car now in Larkin. there are 10 cars including volvo,bmw,merc. all of them in the range at rm30-50k only.the reason the car sell below market price as he said that it is COE car or car which already expired to be on the road as per singapore regulation stated that.so,i seek you humble opinion,is this the car legally to be drive in malaysia. anyone know/notice/heard any news about this?i am pretty sure that almost of you been heard about this.i am worried,as wellknown so many conman nowadays.tq

Last I heard and been discussed in the forum some time ago, Singapore cars cannot directly be legally transfer to Malaysian roads, and vice versa. The legal way was for the car to be exported to a third country (normally Japan) before being exported back to Malaysia.

My advice to you is to walk away from such deals. Don't be taken by the cheap prices for the cars may even be stolen from S'pore.

i heard from the news last week, got a group of people been caught including customs/jpj officer for doing this kind of transaction.

U can pass from JPJ but not from custom. I rather use 40k for a deposit of genuine BMW.

If this is true, the first to grab is used car dealers..For sure all these bullshit..My bro in law got cheated once with this deal. His own schollmate fren approached him on this Singaporean cars. He bought a Rover at RM35k..complete with new numbers, road tax , insurance and even the JPJ geran..So we thought is truly genuine. What happen bwas 6 months later the custom department came to his house and took away the car. They said all the documents was fake..My bro in law money RM35k gone just like that...so beware of all these punks...

I would get a loan from the bank LOL! Should the bank and insurance accept the document it shall be their issue should custom department come to tarik the car.. Any members here can confirmed my infor?

no bank not stupid, you sign the loan agreement have you read thru all clause any condition also is your problem. bank is lending you money and the car as collateral , so if your car fake you need to pay or have new collateral to them.
you always lose not the bank.
