Hi.... just bought 318I Lifestyle year 2005, clock at 61k and showroom condition at RM113K. Need to ask members on the followings doubtsa. Did the price reasonableb. How frequents should I change the transmission oilc. Where is the best service center in Ampang/Pandan Area?d. One of the spare keys is out of battery. Car dealer advice me to used the key as it will self charged after long hour driving. Is it true?Thank you for your advice. Regards

Good for you, Bro ! I actually ask my friend to look for the lifestyle model you bought. I think you should change the transmission oil now and have an interval of 40k for oil change.

Dont worry about the price. it too late. Just enjoy the ride.

b. How frequents should I change the transmission oil?
i. Engine oil - about 5K to 8K depending on the oil used.
ii. G/B - about 100K with the correct ATF

c. Where is the best service center in Ampang/Pandan Area?
Check out the ampang TT. taiko there is blackcat and clementa. Buy them a drink and all the info will follow out of them.

yes, the car keys is recommended to be inter-change with each other every 2 months in order to charge it.

You can try BM World at Desa Pandan (same row with Klinik Kita & Speedy Video) or MRoadster at Pandan Indah light industri (cari Ah meng). Service my ride at MRoadster.................so far ok no problem with them (interm of price & labour- saya puas hati)

Congrats on the investment, great car, same N46 engine as my 2007 E90, except u have dipstick, I no have..

Hi guys.... Again my thanks to all of you for your kind advise. Changing transmission oil at 100k...... means that I got another 40k to safe... BTW where to "tee off" this weekend? Any takers?

Your ride is 2005, an ATL change is overdue. Drained method is recommended, not the flushing one.
