Hi all,Wondering how much is a black CF pedals costs in Malaysia, with the dead pedal and include the ///M stickers as below.

And how much are the aluminium ones?Just trying to compare wether to buy one in UK (from ebay) or just buy from accessories workshop in malaysia for my E39 530i.

For E39 u need to be more caution as the gas pedal is longer then others BMW model .......

Aluminium type around RM 350 perset ........Slightly higher then others model cos its just can be fitted to E39 ........

Personally I'd be cautious as the CF on these are usually just CF stickers over aluminum pedals. Sure wear off damn fast.

Having said that, ebay is your best bet for good prices. :)

Sure enough these are only CF stickers on aluminium pedals, like below.

But I still prefer the black CF version over the silver aluminum version. Anyone installed this in their cars? Any peeling issue?

Btw I can get the CF version for E39 for £50 here.

sometimes Ebay items are cheap if u can ngo for lower shipping charges and also u need to know the item very well like E39 pedal set as most of the ppls tot the gas pedal is universal for all model but in fact the e39 is much longer ......So better ask before buy cos most of the seller claimed its same compared to other models .....

gud luck ....

Thanks man, I know that already since I saw some say normal and some say long version on ebay..so I had measured the gas pedal in my car and confirmed its 24cm. The normal one is 21cm.

Thanks for the caution anyway

Haiya...dont la say like that...malu la

All minor adjustments only la...nothing more

guys, please do not be fooled by those accessories shop telling you that these are real CF. i have not seen a single piece of real CF accessories in Malaysia. Its always just a stick on CF Veil and laquered. Looks pretty real though. The photos above where it says genuine CF... my chinese yellow ASS.. LOL..

Glas that haywire picked it up that it is not real CF.. I work with composites and there is no chance any Aftermarket Products in Taiwan or china are going to get CF as they are banned from importing CF by UN. Main consumer of CF now will be US military, Pakistani Military and UK... and only around 450,000 tonnes a year supply. mostly by Japanese.

I was just at the factory where they build Formula Renault cars.. believe it or not.. its in India somewhere.. remote town.. location Classified.. :). hands on trying the infused CF resin transfer technolgy and oven baked it.. bloody hard work..

regards

Have spoken to a friend who has actually fitted these CF effect pedals...

Basically he said it does looks good, but the CF layer will peel off after about 2 years. Its his own experience and he changed to the normal aluminium ones after that.

So I'm buying the normal M badged aluminium ones.

Thanks for all your feedback.
