Something interesting for tonite.
Bro Allan's BMW E60lci boot had trouble locking and unlocking.
Initially, the boot had trouble unlocking which we managed to open manually with the key.
Then it had trouble locking.
So upon further inspection, we found the locking mechanism having a buzzing noise, so we had to take apart the boot internal trims and eventually traced it to a broken grounding wire at the point where the boot mechanism open/close.
Had to crimp and reattach the broken ends of the grounding wire before reinsulating it with 3m tape.


Voila.....the boot's back to normal working condition.

The whole process took abt 2 hours from diagnosis to identification to rectification.
Its always easy to say NO but the satisfaction of doing something challenging is indescribable.
Here at Bimshop, we are still challenging ourselves everyday to learn and develop new product and services such as coding etc.

Display E60lci Headlight set (Bi-xenon, non-adaptive) that we occasionally use at the shop to show customer ae ring light.
AE demo are also done using other power source, not the headlight's.

- Coding Bro Steven Ng BMW E90lci to "Save Circulation Settings"

By default, the air circulation mode is on Auto.
For the drivers preferring to have more fresh air using the Manual mode, they would have to keep pressing the M side of the button to engage that each time they start the car.


By coding the "Save Circulation Settings", the OBC will remember the last selected air circulation mode and will engage that mode the next time round.
