I guess we are the only crazy folks working hard on CNY eve....helping Bro Louis to code away the error sign that kept coming up cos his pre-fl E93 is on LCI taillights.

Its not simply wiping off the error msg.
Have to code off all the rear lights from sending warning messages and voltage monitoring.

A re-post of a write-up we posted in 2014, its still relevant to this day.

Most sellers would jump at the sales opportunity but we have our principles to abide plus we want our customer to understand our product and how it works and the limitation of the results if there are other factors affecting it.
This is the difference when you mod @ Bimshop.

For today's case, the owner had a spoilt original ae light on 1 side and enquired abt changing to our led ones.
The problem is when we saw the pics of his headlight sets, we could see that one headlight set is much newer that the other, ie the eyebrow on 1 headlight set is still grayish white while the other is yellowish.
The yellowing is a rough indicator of the age and oxidation of the headlight set.
The problem might not be obvious when its on orange lights (unless u really noticed) but on white led markers, you would probably see 1 headlight set ae whiter and the other yellowish white.
Chances are 1 headlight set was replaced before.
We prefer to educate our customers on our products, the differences, what it can achieve.
The customers can then decide if they want it or not.

It would be more fun if someone did a study of the lifespan of the other components related to the ignition/engine having to start/stop.
10% fuel improvement VS say spark plugs, starter motor, battery, ignition coil etc lifespan...interesting

We do our best to cater to our customer needs.
In this case of Bro Jasper's F20lci, he wanted the single slats gloss black grilles which was not so common nowadays.
Took a little while but we managed to piggyback it on our usual grilles shipment, just in time for CNY.
