funny you should mention that cloudbuster, cause ive met several peeps who ended up at ah wai's after bad experiences/cannot fix at pj/usj area shops, among others  Can give him a try, if you need help locating the shop, I posted a map a while back.

Have heard bad things about this M-Roadster place before, I think there have been some negative comments scattered around for the past 1-2 years on this forum, but this one really takes the cake. As I recall this other fella had a similar experience previously, even down to them telling him he shouldnt have bought XXXX year model cause unreliable blah blah.

Tks for the heads up on BM World guys. However, I couldn't seem to find the posted map of BM World's location. It would be much appreciated if someone could direct me to the place. Where in Bandar Tun Razak is it at?

Tks!

from ampang, take MRR2 towards KESAS. Make a u-turn at the Bandar Tun Razak LRT flyover.
After turning, go back on MRR2 but be prepared to make a left turn when you see the junction. Go in.....
then you'll pass flats on your left and further up, you'll see an industrial area. Go all the way to the end, turn right and then turn right again. If lost, call Ah Wai at 0162206687

If I read this correctly, the u-turn at the LRT is called Salak Selatan.

Yup, am also looking for 1 or 2 alternative workshop as I notice the only regular that I go to is a little understaff and appropriate customer service is no more like usual. Thought of changing absorber soon, any good suggestion, am currently on ??? not too sure. Car came original with some M-sport spec such as 3 spoke streeing, single eksoz, m-sport bumper 17" BBS rim but it is without M-sport seat and not the black window trim too, so really wonder the absorber setting.

Tks guys for the direction. I will definitely check out the place for my next service.

Btw, i had a stroke of bad luck today. A satria rammed into my baby's rear at the Jusco car park and the bumper went in slightly by 1 inch or something. But surprisingly, there's no dent. I mean the whole bumper went it on the left side by 1 inch. So it's slightly uneven now. Strange, but damn.....sigh. Maybe it's time to use this as an excuse to put it some fancy bodykit,..yeah.

Unfortunately.. NO.. The E46 and e36 ECU does not have date and time stamp feature.. However, it has a small memory to store fault event for diagnostic purposes.

If the ECU is damaged, chances of retriving data is also slim as you cannot communicate with it..

I think the E90 ECU might have the date and time feature..

I've seen a friends car being diagnosted with proper tools and printed exact dates of engine knockings.

Maybe we can ask Joker for his help because he claimed that his ECU is bugged and he have managed to debugged it.:listen:

BTW, there are some software that can retrieved data from a damaged hard disk. Maybe somebody have this type of equipment..

oh boy!...i can see where this is leading to....!!!

If you are talking about Ah Wai BM World, I think there is quite a handful of members who use him as the regular mechanic. He's very sharp coupled with well trained staff and ample tools he gets the job done. But there are those that dislike to take him on as they can't part with their money. Personally I think the guy deserved to be paid what he bills cause he came from nothing to be something and he's good at what he does. I don't think he appreciates cheapskates and people who don't identify with his skills. Just my thoughts, ok bro.:top:
