optima battery

If money not in issue, why not get from the authorised service center?

Did you know that i was with a friend who just returned form HongKong last week and was busy working. And just happens today i was visiting him and ask about his e30 M20B25, upon asking he realise that he did not start the car for 4 weeks, so in went the key and the car started without any drama !!

Guess what ? Original BMW battery from a used e90 car which he bought 1 year ago. WOW !!

Bro do you mean to say E30 or E90?

I believe E30 original E30 battery would really make a story rather than E90.

Anyway if it was an E30 original battery, WOW !! :4:

ps - sorry I clicked the wrong button again (happened before). Supposed to click 'Reply with Quote' but clicked 'Edit Post'. Rest assured that your post was not edited/moderated. :shot:

Meow meow! How to get original used E90 battery? I also want when my time comes..

Anyway, E90 battery is DIN100, 90AH ~ 95AH output rating, the E30 alternator can tahan meh? U will over work and kill the alternator prematurely and with the alternator running full time to fulfill it's duty, it'll be a drag to the engine and bad for your FC la!

E90 is running a 14V 150 AMP alternator leh!

my m5 also I left idle for almost 1 month before starting it. No issues on start up. but cant remember what battery brand. came with the car.

my wife's kia, new car about 1.5 years old. the battery just died. brand is Watta, but the battery guy said local make. so switched to korea made watta. see how la.

mine is using AC DELKOR ...with blue wording ....as for the delkor thinggy there are 2 type's in the market ...the BLUE wordings and the red one ...only difference is the word AC at the front ...

so far worked pretty good for me ....car did was not used for about 5 weeks and once cranks and car started ....hu hu hu hu

correct la, he told me, it was DIN66... even i saw...unless it's from e46 range....

Original battery indeed could last very long. They are AGM batteries and I happen to have 2 units 90AH lying around. Any brothers that needs it can PM me and I can try letting go :)

Original BMW can last up to 5 years without any drama. Bosch used to be good until it's locally manufacturer. The Bosch battery only last about 1.5 years. Currently, running AC Delkor for 2 years, so far so good.

Has anyone seen this new battery that they are selling ?

it's called ECO battery and they are offering 2 years warranty... sure expensive... dun know if they make for BMWs....

is the 90AH battery for the e90 similar to a DIN 66 battery ?
