Automatic Parking Sensors

Does anyone know whether there is a way to get the parking sensors located in the back and front bumpers to activate automatically, without putting into reverse gear or pressing the sensor switch?

I noticed that in the VW Golf, the parking sensors come on automatically when the car is near an object, (or an object is near the car).

I find this feature to be very useful, especially when parking forward.

Nope...not that I know of...you need to manually press the button to activate the sensors or put it to reverse.

wow...for the sensors to come on automatically you must have another proximity sensor and to have this to come on autmatically to me personally is a nuisance.
thank god for the on/off switch.

I checked with bimmercoder, he mentioned that its possible but he has not gotten it to work the way you wanted yet. He will let me know if he can make it work. Will post here if its possible.
