angel eyes + halogen lights

hey... i was recently thinking about putting angel eyes in my car. currently, its bone stock. i don't want to change to xenon or hid because i find them annoying (no offence to those running xenon or hid) haha.so my question is this: what angels should i go for? i'm afraid the angels will be too bright until it overpower the halogen.is there anyone running angel eyes with halogens on their e46? some pics would be nice...cheers and thanks.

Bro.. it is suppose to out shine the halogens la. Otherwise, how else will anyone notice it?

Go for the cheapest ones in the market. Should be under RM200 if you're planning to stay stock on your halogens. That way, the colour will match better. Cheers!

strat... i know that it supposed to, but i dont want it to overpower it too much. i think 8000k will be too bright. are your eyes with halogen lights? how bright are yours?

i'm running diamond visions with CCFL angel eyes... DV's are like 5000K if i'm not wrong..not perfect match with CCFL, but close.. runnig the AE's with stock halogens, the contrast is too stark..ie, halogens too yellow-ish, compared to almost white CCFL...

dalcross.. mine with HID. That's why must get those cheap AEs. Their 8000k is never really 8000k plus tinges of yellow so it matches your halogens better. But better still means quite a huge contrast la..

mike, your DVs can see ah? blinding or not? tot of getting those for my fogs.

strat, do you know if they sell oem coloured angels? like the ones on the e39 kind of colour?

think "oen coloured" angles are the LED types...which tend to fail, from what i hear...

hey strat: the DV's are nice and bright as far as headlamps go..i felt that as fogs, they dun kinda light up the road as much as i like... the stock halogens do a better job...but erm..they are mismatched int erms of color temp!!..hahha.. okok..so i'm a bimbo!!..

thats why i thought to go the whole hog and use the approved type of yellow bulbs for the fogs...a la.. fujiwara takumi's AE86!!! hahha.. those oughta light up the whole street!!!
