Yes indeed. Luckily they have been saved from bankruptcy...

Quite amazing that their cars are still running on such long lifecycles... I think the 9-3 has been around for quite some time right?

yeah, even those from the 80s are still running around quite a bit. yeah luckily they've been saved from bankruptcy(no thanks to GM) but seem like they're in trouble again :p the 9-3 have been around since 2004 in malaysia. but since it was introduced here, they brought the whole range progressively. until mokhzani lost interest in the dealership and just gave up on it. i think the 9-3 was the best looking saab they've produced until the new 9-5 now! :p

Hahaha, as for me i dont mind having a grandtourismo in the porch, but can fit only 2 cars though :( ya, its the 93 2.0T Sport+, used to have a 93 2.0t Linear as well together with an E60. Enclosed is an old pic of the cars together hehe. I'm around seri kembangan area :) Yeah, I saw the new 95 at the saab showroom in singapore. its gorgeous! if only it was sold in malaysia :(

Awesome! You had two of the same cars! =D Good stuff man. Any difference between Linear and Sport+?

My late 2003 93 Linear had 150bhp, 240Nm@about 1700-2000rpm (roughly). Just 16" wheels. normal suspension.
MY 2005 93 Sport+ has 195bhp, 310Nm@ 1800-2000rpm ( about there) nice 5-spoke 17" wheels ( back in 2005 17" was quite a big deal la for a stock car, hehe) Sports suspension and sunroof. both had original Aero bodykit added.
However, its the distinct power delivery and handling of the Sport+ that made me decide to get a 2nd 93. :p

Hmmm..same cramped porch i guess..i got e39 523i year 98,an m-sport wannabe i shud say,m-kitted n eibach springs with 18' staggered wheels in the arches as my workhorse..alongside also an old estima aeras acr30 for my kids n family ride as well as an iswara aeroback for my wife..both bimmer n estima occupy 2/3 of my porch space..i have to park my iswara outside..i really adore bimmers, have owned e34, then 36 n currently 39 n perhaps upgrading to e60 in the future..but F10 really gets into my nerves..nice

Upgrade? Haha. Hopefully able to own an E38 someday.

But quite a fair few dream cars that I wish to drive...

Btw, all the cars owned by my dad... Just that I'm lucky enough to use the E32 almost exclusively. :p

only one saab left for now la, hehe

I once driven a old SAAB 900 GLS and CD Turbo. Really solid and powerful car in the 80's. I was banged by a 40' trailer from the back, the energy absorbing bumper just rebounded to its original position save a few minor scratches. The wind screen curvature is similar to 911 or more curved.
Good car and good taste. Initially thinking of getting one but feel worried for the technical support here. No parts and no workshop has enough knowledge to troubleshoot any potential problem.
