An intro from a newbie to the Club

Hi to all fellow beemer lovers,Finally decided to join the Club!Just a short intro (hopefully) about my car ownerships. My partner and I had a 2006 E60 523i and a 2005 Saab 93 Sport+. Finally sold the E60 early last year just before the F10 was officially launch in Malaysia. Decided to get the Mercedes-Benz C200 CGI while waiting for the F10 to be launch. However, only booked the F10 in Oct/Nov as we were more interested in the 528i. Finally took delivery of the car in March this year and the first thing we did was drive down to Singapore the same evening to get the wheels changed the next day to the 19" V-spoke 331 with mixed tyres. Somehow, the standard issued rims just didn't suit my taste. StillView attachment 19114View attachment 19115 keeping our beloved Saab in addition to our new baby I came across this website/forum by chance as I was searching for a BMW car owners' forum. Hoping to get to know members here with more experience and exchange ideas on all issues relating to BMW owners especially the F10s. Also looking forward to participating in events organized by the Club whenever my schedule allows.Will try to post some pics of the car once I figure out how to do it

it is an awesome car ....we're talking 310nm back then in 2005 hehehe. power delivery is just superb. ya its too bad auto eurokars gave up their dealership. now send my car to singapore to service hope saab will return to malaysia.

ya the jags are nice, went to see the XF before getting the E60, but just didn't quite like all of it...... unlike the saabs. hahaha

Thanks Alex for the welcome and also the kind words not quite a collection yet la.... hahaha. ya, the saab is a wonderful car to drive and own mine isnt as comfortable as a beemer though.... too hard with the sports suspension. if we bump into each other one day, come sit in it and take it for a spin it fact my year 2005 93 still gets a lot of attention as compared to the c-class. heheh

You're welcome! =) Haha. It's good enough for me already although my dream garage would need to have an E31 8-Series in it! Hmm...is your 9-3 a 2.0t Sport+? Probably you get more attention cause it's a rarer car than the C-Class, which is quite common on the road. I always bump into one black 9-3 in Penang, and man, I admire the car everytime I see it! Where you located?? I'm going down to KL next week...

YES! I second what you say. I just recalled I sat in the new 9-5 at the London Motorexpo, the car was solid! And the rear LED light is just plain nice. =)

Hahaha, as for me i dont mind having a grandtourismo in the porch, but can fit only 2 cars though ya, its the 93 2.0T Sport+, used to have a 93 2.0t Linear as well together with an E60. Enclosed is an old pic of the cars together hehe. I'm around seri kembangan area Yeah, I saw the new 95 at the saab showroom in singapore. its gorgeous! if only it was sold in malaysia

yeah they make really good cars! just look at some of the hollywood movies, ur bound to find a few saabs in them

Quite amazing that their cars are still running on such long lifecycles... I think the 9-3 has been around for quite some time right?
