Finally got down to it... I have the E36 318ti grey plastic lower trim but it's not a direct fit onto the E30... So did some 'operation' and fitted it last night...

just wondering if its possible to use an E36 non Ti?

Haven't tried that... I have this lower trim panel from the E36 Ti halfcut together with my M42 engine... Then kept aside for 6 years.. Only worked on it last Sunday... Took a couple of hours to cut here cut there to fit.... Since it's plastic, so can work with penknife...

FYI, the E36 Ti dashboard is like in between the E30 and E36.. That's probably why the lower trim panel is similar to the E30's..

the fiber which sell by a forumer also fit perfect...will show you all the picture later...
