Hi guys,Whenever I set my air circulation to "recirculate", i.e. light on right LED on, when I switch off my car for a while, and i switch on and turn on A/C, the setting is always reset to no LED on, i.e. outside air coming in. If I switch off car for a short while, e.g. 10 minutes or less, then it remembers the setting.Anyway to set the setting permanently? Malaysia environment is not really conducive for outside airflow, especially just after garbage truck has passed by Same goes for other settings (e.g. airflow to leg/face). How come A/C does not remember your last settings? Am having a 2001 E46 325.Thanks!

I heard that you can get this programmed at the service center. Anyone can confirm this?

All you need is a workshop with DIS or GT1. They need to program it to your car's default setting. If you are friend enough with Auto Bavaria they will do it for you for free. If not then you gotta pay. Try M Speed in USJ.

yup, i did mine in MSpeed, it never off again after using GT1 for setting

I have the same problem with my E90 325... my E46 318 was able to remember, whichever setting I set it to, when I restart the car the next morning, it's exactly the same.

But the E90 always turn air-recirculation off by default. It seemed to remember everything else eg. temperature, fan speed, but just not the recirculated air option... how annoying.

Anyway, the E90 comes with iDrive... and I was wondering if any sifus here know if that can be set from the iDrive? I tried the manual... no help.

Autologic also can do this. Pay a visit to Jason Foo at Optimum Kayu Ara or any others like Ah Soon at KS Auto that have Autologic. Yes, GT1 also be able to do this. You can also re-program to auto lock you central lock when your car start moving. My wife really appreciate this features as most of Japs car by default.

Nope, it cannot.. You can use NCS Expert (which come with INPA program) using DCan cable.
