Advice on used E90/E92 335i

Dear All Sifus,I currently drive a E46 330i and love the car.But I am always thinking about more power. I would like to upgrade to a used 335i either E90 or E92 body.Would appreciate any advice from current owners of such cars.My main concerns (as read from BMW magazines and bmwblog about the problems with the twin turbo cars) are:-i) run flatsii) high pressure fuel pumpiii) turbo flash gates???Let me know if there are other issues which I should look at.Thanks in advance.

This dont answer your question but E90 335i its not easy to find here. Unless you order from BMW or get a dealer to source one for you.

Totally agree.
I have only seen one on the road in three years.
I would like to keep this option open because of the practicality of a 4 door.

for daily use better go for E90 unlees u choosing E92 for weekend car. don't worry much about the replacement parts BMW specialist is everywhere or AUTO BAVARIA will solve all the problem.

My daily driver is e92 335i, no problems of any sort so far (touch wood). Tyres i'll definately consider PS2 or AD08 when the time comes. Happy hunting on your car.

It depends on your cup of tea.

Watch out for wastegate rattle as well... if it's minor,it can be adjusted out by Procede,but if it's bad,you will have to change the turbo/turbos.
