Hi guys,I'm driving an '84 e30.I've recently noticed a high pitched "croaking" sound comming from the wheels at very low speeds each time the wheel turns. I'm thinking it could be the beaings or the ball joint. any ideas?thanks.

most likely wheel bearings. changed mine couple months back. cheap cheap, my car much more silent now

thanks.

Check da power steering fluid & da belt

thanks for the suggestions. much appreciated. the problem is, the croaking is intermittent. which means, each time I bring it to my mech, it stops. At any rate, I suspect it could be the bearings. I doubt its the tie rods as they are pretty new still. I also doubt its the steering as the sound comes from the wheel. nevertheless, I'll keep those in mind if it ever comes up again : )

thanks again.

(side question: evilnickwong, where did you get the replica "throwing star" rims?? they're sweet....)
