just some update... i finally collected my car this morning... straightaway drove to the shop where i purchased the wheels...
some pics of the car, before & after...

before...

at the shop...

only 20kms on them...

wheels are all off, and springs were replaced...

wheels and tires...

wheels and springs replacement done..

getting ready for alignment...

final outcome...

the car definitely rides better with the new tires as compared to the RFTs... overall pretty happy with the wheels but not that happy with the suspension...
the H&R improves the ride slightly but will definitely upgrade the suspensions later...

thanks for looking.... :top:

Bro Bond, what brand/ spec of the tires and where did you get a spare rim?

Wah terus pergi ke speedline tukar hehehe. Looks good, nice looking set of rims!

Nice rims and definitely look more sporty now. Do you feel the car is lighter, easier to manoeuvre and the brake seems to be more effective after changing to lighter rims? Next go BBK?

Hi bro, it's 235/35r19 for the front ad 265/30r19 for the rears.. tires are falken azenis.. I got the spare tire set (which comes complete with jack, etc) from speedline as well.. one thing I don't quite like with the spare tire set is the space it occupies in the boot..

I'm not sure if the car is lighter coz I drove on the stock rims for about 15km only.. but I think the new rims are lighter than the stock ones.. definitely will go BBK next.. looks "empty" behind the rims... hehe..

heh i did the same, got rid of my stocks and am now sporting 19" rims, and keep noticing how small my rotors look. Are you planning to go for the m performance brakes or other aftermarket?

m performance would be ideal but i think the price will be much higher than aftermarket ones... hehe..
some more mine's just 320i... worst case scenario just buy the brembo caliper covers from kedai abang and put on la... hahaha...

Heh thats also whats holding me back for now, from what i've read performance wise there really isnt an improvement above stock brakes when on the road (unless you're going on track), which means paying that much for basically look and color. but i dont want to lose my BSRI by going outside.

i dunno about covers, it may add some color but the rotors will still look small :)

Still contemplating about the rims.. haha so far my 397s are ok.. just changed the tyres from RFT to Nexen 8000 all four and the comfort level is way better and nicer
