AC type IV rims

I went to 8 tyre shop both in Glenmarie and Klang today to look at those AC type IV replica. It look exactly like original AC to normal users, but of course the expert will know its a fake. Glenmarie all standard price selling for RM 2200. Klang worst, went to 3 shop and all the price different from 1850, 1450 & 1250. I remember the guy in Glenmarie telling me that below 1500 is made in china and tak boleh pakai one (colour different than the 2200). He say original AC 18' about 14K. How many have actually brought the replica or original? Any comment?

anyway how u guys diffrentshape the ori and replica acs type4 rims..
i get 1 for rm1850 obviusly is replica...
heard min size for the ori 1 is 18"?am i rite?

actually 1250 is damn cheap

buy 2 sets of different designs

yes, i heard the same that original AC type IV only comes with 18' and above. The original 5 spoke all curve into the center cap (something like slanting down). The tyre shop say any AC IV below 1500 is JRD local made and comparing to Taiwan they r not good. But i look at both Taiwan and JRD dun have different lar coz both also have the same embosed word behind the rim

So means if I want to get a 17 inch ac type 4 I will have to get a replica one? By the way which shop in glenmarie sells rims? 10q.

most of the tyre shop in glenmarie is selling AC rim, but remember 17' side wall comes with nuts (like allen key) only 18' side wall is plain.

wahhhhhh bro, 17' AC type IV plain without nuts very rare leh, i heard from the tyre shop that only a few unit is available, i went to more than 20 shop to look for it but all say dun have. u remember where u see it?

2 piece is for racing spec. plain is for normal la.. but here, all same same wan la...! bbuy replica also, wont give u 2 piece racing type4, it may have the look, but its undetachable.!

wah jsen u good lar, he ask for pic only u can find him both with nuts and without, if he lost his nuts next time he surely find u, muhahahahaha. depending on individual, i like plain without nut coz it look very simple and easy to wash. the nut might get alot of dirt in between and hassle to wash. (Again depends on individual liking)

I think without nut better easy to clean, need time cleaning to clean the wheel .
