AC blower running even when key taken out

Evening Guys,Need to ask if anyone encountered the problem i just had;The aircon blower would be running even when i turn off the engine and take the key out, heck even after i lock the doors. And once i turn on the engine again, the blower would still be running and the AC panel would be completely turned off, ie. no lights and no way to control. I took out the AC fuse then only would the blower stop running, i tried putting back the fuse and the blower would start again. I also tried to disconnect the battery positive terminal and waited for 10 mins and reconnect and the blower would start up again. Any ideas anyone?

Ahh...found the most probable cause....its probably the final stage unit...anyhow here's the DIY link i found..will be heading off to grab a replacement FSU and do a DIY session
