E34/E32 Aircond Blower Controller - Sword

On E32/E34 the aircond blower is controlled by sword. If the sword failed, the symptom can be either blower function only at position4, blower starts even at position0 I talked to naidu, even he confirms tht so far he hasnt found anybody tht can fixed the sword. if the sword failed the solution would be to source replacement sword from chopshop, like moot did. and bav auto didnt even has new sword as stock as its VERY expensive...so i took the faulty sword as moot wanted to throw it away and change few i/c,short resistors etc2... walla... faulty sword now working like a new one :smokin: and it of cos cheaper from the one from the chopshop... :smokin: so who says sword can be repaired ??? any1 tht has faulty sword and interested to have it repair, PM me...:top:

good luck trying to search for those parts from rs or farnell or even pasar road dude....

I have the same problem, i turn on my aircond to 1 sometime the blower didnt work, then have to turn to second speed and switch back to 1.

SkinHead where is the location of the sword or RS component?

I don't understand ............ , so what you trying to say is it is not available in Malaysia ?
