ABS Service

Hi AllJust to share some info that might be useful. My ABS unit for my E39 530 was faulty a few months ago. Sent my unit to http://www.bba-reman.com/uk/index.aspx for repair. Cost GBP 144.00 to repair. Then cost about RM 330.00 for air courier (slow air courier) for both ways. They took about 1 week to repair. 1 week to send to there and 1 week back. Had Albert install it back yesterday. No need to reprogram so save me a few hundred there as well. Running well so far.:rock: I asked around before, if new ABS unit cost RM 2200.00 including programming and labour. For mine it's tough to source for 2nd hand unit as the ABS unit used by my car is the same as the 540.

Is it not the same as other E39 ? Mine is a 530. I had a faulty unit (at least i think I did ) and i bought a 2nd hand unit to replace it.
Part num 345 16756341. I might made a mistake then .. damn.. !

please make sure u indicate that it will be exported for repair and reimported for customs purposes so what u will not kena tax.

mine is bosch model: 34 52 6 755 741 and OE part no: 0265 950 002. might be different for yours. as long can work, OK leh.
