Err... Don't you mean what is the highest price you can put for your car? Lowest can be free... :)

You may check out car sales websites - mudah, motor trader, kereta.com and the likes for indicative pricing.....

depends on how much TLC you have put in with bills/records to justify...

Seriously, the price for an older car is always very subjective. The price range can be like heaven & earth. I know of a member's 1998/1999 E38 sold for RM120k!!! I also heard someone bought a 1997 728i for less than rm40k!!! So I would say that you can price yours anywhere between RM40 - 120k depending on how desparate is the buyer. Some people I know did not have to spend a single after the purchase but I also heard of 1 member who has spent close to 100k.

I would be incline to say that only you knows what is the price. Always on a willing buyer & willing seller basis. You just need to find 1 true buyer for your ride.

BTW I just help a friend conclude the sale of a 1997 735iL for RM47k

Good luck on your sale.

the e38 has no specific market value..... bec thr r very few on the road..... i got an e65 n tried selling mine to a dealer but only got offered 20k !! so decided to give it to my father in-law ..... i guess if u r patient u can get a higher price... anyway if u r basing on about 20-25k , i dont think it will drop much more even in the near future... thats y most e38 owners decide to keep them n restore it
btw ... love the e38 more than my e65 bec it feels more like a drivers car than the e65 which , although comfortable n stable , feels more like a chauffeur driven one!!

just got an offer for E38 728i 98, uk spec, single owner.. 48K miles.. spend more time under the roof than on the road . very much everything intact asking for 38.
