6x9 Recommendations

Am looking for a set of 6x9" speakers to replace the stock 6x9" speakers on my mum's car. Anyone got recommendations to what is good at a reasonable $. Not looking at super duper high end, mid range models will be good enough I guess. Personally I'd go for component speakers but since its only for the old folks car and they are not into audiophile stuff, figured replacing the stock 6x9" should be a good enough upgrade for them. As expected stock speakers suck big time. The speaker magnet is like the size of a 50 cent coin!. Sheez. So what good?. Alpine, Pioneer, JVC, Panasonic, etc,etc....I guess budget should be between $300 - 400 or less per pair. Thanks.

If budget is your main constraint, why dont you browse mycarhifi/0-100 or iasca malaysia under item for sale and search for your 6x9 there. Who knows maybe someone is clearing their hand on this.
Other than that a new speaker of that price range will do if your requirement for your old folks.
