630i SMG - to buy or not to buy?

Anyone have experience with a 630i with SMG gearbox? I've heard differing opinions on it regarding performance and reliability. Or should I stick with the regular steptronic version? Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Well I think you should stick with the regular steptronic version. The SMG has a lot of reliability problem so it's not recommended. Well just my opinion of course... The SMG surely is fun to use and much better in performance but when rosak, sakit oohhh...

well, i would say as long as you love how it drive then go for it.

quite satisfy with SMG. it's not really that hard to maintain. just get a proper workshop and maintain the car nicely.
