Oh, and lastly, if you really want to buy a brand new 528i or any F10 from an official dealer, next year BMW is updating the f10 5 series (AGAIN) with new digital instrument clusters. If me, i will wait, else, you can always pay extra to retrofit.

but to reach malaysia it be Q3/Q4 2013 due to our car production date is 5 month before delivery .

I had 528 msport uk specs 2011 ... with 3.0 engine ... its damn good the 8 speed gearbox ... 535 definitely will be better ... fuel consumption ... a little bit of half tank ron 97 from jln duta to alor star ... i had my e60 2006 and it consumed more than that ...

Hi 528i owners.
Again pardon my ignorance but does the SKD 528i come with comfort seats (lap-supporting type)?

Thanks in advance.

Nope... they don't... But they do come with Sport Seats. The also have the lap-support, but now it's manually adjusted compared to the old E60 M Sports which was fully electric-powered....

The Fuel consumption on the 535i is actually quite good. Spirited driving gets me about 550km. If you follow speed limit highway driving to JB can make it to 750km. My lowest average per tank is 8.0 lit/100km with the cruise control on. In terms of build quality, tthe CBU one is always better than SKD 528i. Depends on your attention to detail, if you want german perfection, then its the 535i.

+1... i agree with you 110%... i'm also very happy with mine!

wondering if anyone did check out the audi 3.0t quattro if you're considering the 535? My uncle got one recently, looks stunning. 400K and heaps of extras like HUD, power boot, lane assist, lane departure, B&O sound system. Am wondering how a 535 will stack up against the audi. Trying to get a test drive arranged soon.

Looks like 535 owners are building up. M5sport minch, u shld gather the n55's to join the sessions.....

I never manage to get 550km per tankful, but thenagain my regular route is Damanasara H.to Hartamas which lasts 10 minutes each way. Plus I hardly stick to the speed limit on the highway :)

Of course full time city driving is quite impossible for this. I do most of my travelling up the KLIA and North-south highway and occasionally the MEX highway. If you notice the revs on the 535i, you'll find that at 120-130km/h you'll be doing just a tad over 2000 rpm's. I find this the sweet spot as it hits the peak torque of the engine. At this point it is pretty fuel efficient. Of course if you do full speed on the highway i.e. 200+ km/h i believe the FC figures are closer to 15l/100km.

Just thought i share it with you guys

Yeah. I'm not really complaining. Its about the same consumption as my old 520i E39 plying the same route, but I'm having a LOT more fun in the 535. On the highways, it feels very comfy at 160. Only problem is the damn steering that seems to need constant adjustment to keep straight and still pulls lightly to the left. My Audi Q5 steering feels rock steady in a straight line by comparison. In fact even the E39 was rock steady by comparison.

Ray, i have the same problem as well even after alignment has been done, but somehow after i have switched to 20"s Michelin PSS from my 19" RFT, the problem became less apparent.

rsnavin, i have test drove the A6 3.0 , a7 3.0, the Quattro and DSG really makes a different. I have said it here before, i think the Audi cabins are built so much better. but somehow i still ended up with the 535i. haha, mine comes with surround view , lane departure warning too.

my average fuel consumption is 570km, my 335 does about 430km , but with 10 litres less. loving these new turbo/supercharger engines from germany

Daniel, another chat group ? the N54 one already draining up my battery, i would need another new phone for another group chat ! haha..
