hi Safri, tested the 520i. Power is definately as powerful compare to 525i, but i think it's better than the 523 that i tested before.
The owner told me that, the E39 (520i & 525i) 2002 model onwards have a newer engine and more powerful, is that true???

The 520i c/w full specs with side door curton as well. Condition of the car is very good...worth consider, have to confirm with the owner in 1 week time.

Correction:
Power is definately NOT as powerful compare to 525i, but i think it's better than the 523 that i tested before.

i believe so bro but the 523 2000 model should still give u slightly better power vs 520 2002, if i'm not mistaken by approx 25 hp. anyway, happy hunting!

E39 was introduced in April 96 and was originally available with a choice of 2.0 litre (1991cc), 2.5 litre (2494cc) and 2.8 litre (2793cc) DOHC 24V engines. In SEPTEMBER 2001 the range was "facelifted" with minor cosmetic revisions (wider kidney grille, round fog lights and painted stripe) and the engine range was extended to include 2.2 litre (2171cc) and 3.0 litre (2979cc). For the 2.5 litre version, while the engine capacity remains the same the power was increased from 170bhp to 192bhp (M54B25).
