Hi guys,

Is it normal for a 330e to not go in a straight line when you let go the steering? It feels like I had to constantly fight the steering to keep a straight line.

Hi, just to share i went to AB today to check my 3 mth old ride for alignment issues. I just noticed in the past 2 weeks, the pulling to the left is more noticeable compared to when just taken delivery. I checked tyre pressure is all good and very sure didn't have any severe encounters with pot holes so far.

AB tech confirms that usually most of the cars have a little pull to the left but is very little and negligible. However for my case is more than usual and recommends to do a full alignment job. I will try to get it done soon by 3rd party, as AB charges a bomb for it.

Just strange why this is a "known" behavior...why don't they fix it?

Please share if you guys have any further info about this...

most alignment shops... i mean.. MOST!! never calibrate their machine. so i never trust the machine.

two alignment shops that i go to... Ah Hee at sungai Besi... damn expensive, and APT at corner or Jalan Genting Klang and Jalan Sri Rampai.

both places uses basic mechanical measurement i.e ruler and strings and a turn table. And a winky eye..

never failed..

I think there will be no perfection either do it at the service center or alignment shops. If something going too far to be wrong, then I think with the customer rights should insist the workshop to fix it as expected.

same problem for my 2016 330e sport :)
i notice it while going to airport around 130kmh+ speed. During the city drive i don't notice it, several times i tried it looks straight. When i go fast, i can notice it but not much.

Roads are built with a slight left slant (for Malaysian roads) as to drain water away. It will not be perfectly flat. It might make your car steer SLOWLY to the left

I got the same problem as well when I get my car delivered. Went to AB back to fix it together with my absorber mounting as it makes creaking sounds. Sounded like old car, very annoying.

After getting the absorber mounting fixed, I got my car tested with the SA. The creaking sound is fixed but the car is still pulling to the left. The SA actually admit that the absorbers are slanting to the left when they rectify the car hence the obvious pulling. They have fixed it by adjusting the absorber height. The SA told me if the car is still pulling to the left, they will just change the absorber altogether. I guess it is my best choice since its under warranty.

i betul betul kesian you guys lah.. haiyo.. i have got 2 F30s now.. and all the niggles for suspension and alignment are sorted.. the car is balance and does what it supposed to do.. go straight!n and stay in line..

i really vomit blood when SA tell things like .. road in malaysia is slanted .. every freaking road in the world is slanted.. 1/40. and at that slant car still go straight!!!

there is no adjustment for absorber height.. bloody bullshit..

my number is 012-7177082 and more than happy to share my experience on this beautiful little bitch! pain in the arse compared to to the bigger bros of bmw.. but built to be quick.. not for comfort..

i went to AB for aligment. Still pulling left but, it is less comparing to previous state and i paid 420 myr for aligment, what the hell
