My car engine suddenly stop while running at low speed. Can restart but when I put on the D gear, it stop again. Looks like out of gas. Thought the meter rosak. After 15 minutes, I off the air-con and restart the car. Drove to the nearest petrol station and fill up the fuel. Only RM 65 for a full tank. That concluded the meter is OK. few days later, kena again. The gas is half the tank but feels like the petrol cannot reach the engine. Again, I fill up the tank and drove as normal. Sent the car for scanning, result "no fault code". Can anybody help me on this? Is it because of the fuel pump @ fuel filter @etc? Please....

Very unlikely flywheel sensor coz when it fails, the car cannot start.

The problem could be due to fuel filter being choked. changed the fuel filter.

Please change the spark plug if you have not done before.

Had similar problem before and it was the fuel pump. If it happens again, try hitting the fuel pump with a wood and at the same time starting the car.

hi sbahari_s, have u solved the problem????

i encountered the same problem lately.

did your engine stop while stationary at traffic light?

shouldn't be the fuel filter or spark plugs as i just did my inspection 2.

pls update.. thanks

I have changed the fuel filter. So far so good. My fuel gauge indicator just passing below the half tank limit. Will wait until the fuel indicator light's flashing to satisfy myself.

Finally, my problem solved by replacing the pulse generator on inlet camshaft. :)
