Read today's Malay Mail (page 2) ".........when his BMW 328i burst into flames near the Abdullah Hukum LRT station in Bangsar............had stopped at a traffic light when flames gushed from the rear of his vehicle...........claims the incident would be due to faulty spare parts......"my car has always been in tip-top condition". So sorry to learn about this.............wonder what went wrong?:eek:
 
fire from the rear : cud it be the battery compartment or the fuel linkage ?

But then, w imitation parts, you never know...

Older BMWs are known to catch fire - gotta make sure all wirings are in good shape...

whose fault when car caught fire? if wiring was done not acordingly if added or why?
 
Must be the Battery thingy.
Hope his insurance cover that. Question is , If the fire extinguisher is in the booth
can he put out the flame on time?
