Whoa.. its been a log time since I posted but you guys are always a mere wonder away...anyway..This year's Macau GP saw the addition of the WTCC race and was one of the feature races in this year's Macau GP. Cars made up of BMW, Alfa, Seat, Ford Focus, 2 Honda Euro Rs and a single Altezza... The race.. damn interesting. OK.. enuff of TC.. here are the photos..

anyone has a copy of the race coverage on Astro? I missed it and also all the re-runs! ( which are all at insane hours, and not helped by the fact they dun follow the printed schedule! )

All I know is the Andy Prioux won the first World Touring Car Championship eventhough he came in second. :yahoo:

The first and second to cross the line were e46. It was a damn good race. Lots of crashes at high speed sumore at that one particular tight corner.

Try checking Star Sports / ESPN website, they may have something about it.

Poison, I am so jealous. I was plannig to go there to visit you, but alas, girlfriend cannot take leave.

FYI, Andy Priaulx is not the first World Touring Car champion. The team manager of BMW Team Italy/Spain, Roberto Ravaglia, was the last World Touring Car champion in 1987 driving an E30 M3.

There was one previous attempt to have a world touring car championship. It lasted one season only, 1987.
