if milage not high
can consider-lah

new car need RM 398K

Oh yeah, mileage when I test drove last week is at 22000km +

I must say it is a very good piece of driving machine. Power ada, style ada, although I am happy with my Volvo S40 2.4i. But if the deal is good, I also very tempted to switch camp hehehe.

Guys racun Excalibur.... :D

E60 525i is a nice car and the price that your friend offer is a good deal i guess :D :D

What colour?

Silver :) I prefer black though.

Owning a bimmer is a more realistic approach for a mid 30 something like me heheh..though I would love a porche or masserati :p

The M54 2.5 192 bhp E60 525i is the old-engined model. Already obsolete and replaced by the new 2.5 218bhp magnesium engine found in the latest E60 525i.

Excalibur, do note that the price of the used E60 525i offered to you is very close to a brand new E60 523i (comes with the new 2.5 magnesium engine but detuned to 177bhp, hence "523i" badge and not "525i" badge). The new E60 523i is a bit slower than the old 192bhp E60 525i offered to you but it's a new car!

Yeah, I am also aware of that too, damn... in a dilemma now hahaha..OK, now there are 2 things which is more logical to do now...

1. Go for the 523i, which is brand new.
2. Ask for further discount for the 525i until ard 320k?

IMO, new 523 is a much better option bro. you get an 2006 compared to 2005 car. i'm sure you could leave with 15hp less, which is still better than your S40's 170hp.

There is a thread that it may be quite promising to get the 523i's stock HP bumped up to match the new R6 E60 525i power specs (218hp) via simplistic upgrades.

New car, new valvetronic engine, 20+hp more for almost the same price as a used older M54 525i. I say get the new 523i :D

RM340K!!!??? Keep your Volvo and buy yourself another house bro!!! Houses will only make you money in the long run. Sell the house in 10 years time for RM1Million and get the E60 M5 secondhand with spare change to spare. Maybe the spare change can even buy you another Volvo. :D

Would advise the same...go for the 523i..... I think you could live with the less HP.....Brand New and look at the price difference... Cheers n all the best on ur purchase....

Bro,

Go for NEW 523i. Many things can happen in 10 months, that's why your friend is selling his UDM. Nothing beats that new smell of leather seats and spanking clean interior.

:D :D :D

Whahaha...no antidote to cure this poison man! evil you guys :D

Will see what my fren will have to say. He knows how calculate also given if he also monitor the recent price changes. I wanna see what kinda price he still wanna sell.

Get the new 523i. You might also get competitive interest rates with a new car as compared to a 2nd hand. Might be cheaper in the long run, especially with maintenance.

Does anyone know of workshops that are experienced with E60s besides AutoBavaria.
