SHELL new petrol

I was using Primax 3 until last week when I filled-up at Shell unawares of the new petrol. I noticed my engine was super smooth and quiet. It's a good feeling. It was only today I learnt of the new petrol and it's a thumbs up!

One thing to take note is you got to wait for all the existing stock in the petrol kiosks to finish before the new product comes in. I would suggest to wait for a few days before starting filling your car with the new Shell petrol.

i tried rm 100 now still halftank now , but abit smother than the last ones , fc wise i think no diffrence . engine wont not be like roaring during high rpm ...esso and mobil have the same character for my car ....

I have always been a strong suporter of shell due to the Bonuslink points. Anywat, cuedos to them for coming out with this new formulation. Seems to be better and smoother than the new Primax.

tried to use shell super new formula 2 days ago...from 10.3 km/l can jump to 11 km/l....i can say thats fantastic !

the new Shell SUper with Fuel Economy formula was launched in July. SInce that, the company has been doing a lot of TV/Radio commercials.Apart from that, they also have banners/posters/medals and have been doing a lot carnivals every weekend for the customers. However, one of the most exciting event is with every purchase of RM50, customer is entitled to get a 'medal sticker' to be placed on a windscreen, and if spotted by radio cruisers, the winner will win RM50 petrol voucher per sticker, and also a chance to participate in Shell '1 tank challenge', i.e to fill 1 full tank and drive all the way to penang and back to KL.

i agree, i have been using shell for 2 years and always monitor my mileage. will be able to know for sure if the new formula provide any additional miles. currently running on a tank full to almost empty takes me about 560-600KM (mix of long distance n city driving) so with this new formula, i expect it will bring me more than 600

replying to my own quote, i cant feel any diffrence on the mileage, still around the same 560-600km

Apparently you need to drive at a constant speed (e.g. highway) to realise the savings.

Mr Mouse,

next time you patronize shell station, please ask for the FUel Economy leaflet. vet through the articles and pay attention to some suggestions on driving style to improve mileage.
