Eggie, first time i saw someone sweated profusely at the highlands!! Was that a piece of microfiber cloth u were using?

Haha. I had this sweating problem for the past few years actually. :4: Haha, even when I was studying in the UK.

Anyways, it was simply a pleasure being able to see a genuine E46 M3...

PS: Was using normal face towel to dab the sweat.

Haha. Yeah. I was the one who honked and waved on the way down; I was driving the green E32.

And boy, did you tackle those roads with gusto. Hahaha.

Bro Eggie...thanks for your honest feeback and sharing of your experience.

I was no diff then you about 6 - 7 months ago when I attended my 1st club drive to Raub. I was shit scared throughout and after the drive. But after numerous other drives with the guys and some sessions to brush up driving skills, I am now addicted and starting to do some stunts also!!! Hahahahaha

But as T2 mentioned, always drive at your own pace never be pressured, but do try to push your limits within boundaries with the aim to develope. E.g. me.....I was being pushed by an E81 with a 2 litre engine and an E39 523...I did the best I could given the injuries but still no way u can beat experienced drivers...like those 2 cucuking me from the back....

And sorry bro, but seeing you sweat was a highlight...soon enuff you'll be boogying like Doc when you arrive at your destination!!! Join us for more drives!!!

we need more members like eggie and ecco and some of the newbies for such kind of drives ...those who are new and we as OM will always welcome them and will ensure that they get and will be taken care the best possbile ways with lotsa fun and laughters ....

eggies saw you overshooting the entery to the parking lots during the 2nd session uphill ...man it was an honour to see your's and pussy's 7er make it to the top and down in a piece..

and also glad to see some of those who hardly logged in to the forum ...etc Dragon , Mirage and baskaran to make it for the drive ... great having you guys around ..

overall my thanks to the orgy ( BAD , SSMAN , MIZHAN and to the person who gave us a great discount and hospitality at awana Genting ) hope you don't mind with those loud speakers breaking up the mist there ....

overall it was a GREAT EVENT and well organized ...

Ehhh i remember a newbie that followed us for a drive to RAUB and he too shaked his head as he never tought it was going to be such a thrilling dirve ..and moreover he keep on mentioning some of the speed limits to be followed the next following day.... but look at the same person today after several drive ...GRAD with flying colours and whacking all the corners and bend with limits of no stopping ..WHO IS THIS PERSON AHHHH ???

Haha yes I overshot the darn entrance to the parking lot. :4: And it's a miracle I managed to survive the 2nd session uphill. Was more terrified of the steeper climbs after Awana, but after some coaxing and tips from Greg, this time, much more bearable, and of course, significantly improved compared to my previous drive there.

Hey EccO, firstly apologies that you got lost. You were meant to be in Group 2 aka Jilat and may have got mixed up along the way as you arrived earlier than the lead car for Group 2. For future drives, it is advisable to keep the contact number of the lead or sweeper in your group and pls call "repeatedly" if you get lost.

Since the activity on this thread is rife....pls note the next drive is Penang on 12th March 2011. Registrations are closed now...but will try to accomodate any last minute requests. Great event yesterday..sorry i have to rempit while going back due to my wife got involved in an accident..thank god the babies and mummy are fine but the car..hmmm...very sad.

Anyway this is my first time rempit uphill with my E38, and surprisingly the performance is not that bad, no tyre squeaking, not oversteer or what so ever...probably bcoz i'm not fast lah...hehe. Thank to Meow also for guiding me to drive appropriately
