Awana Breakfast Drive Feb 20, 2011.

Hi guys, I am trying to make it back in time to join this drive (in oz land now). Scheduled to be back on 19th, if not so tired I will definitely try and turn up Sunday morning. Also trying to convince another mate in a 318ci to join as well. will update the list with our names asap once confirmed!

Hopefully I'll be able to make this run! sounds sexciting..haha :)

Badrul880 > Batang Kali >> Awana Cable Car Cafe (Opposite Awana Resort Entrance) there wasn't any lead and sweeper cars. Every1 wanna rempit la. Don't wanna to sacrifice my rempit pleasure.
 
..from what i can read, you guys actually planning to do some sort of..racing.. on the way up, or i have missed something ??..

No no no no racing.. My mother don't allow me to race on public roads..

Group B - JohnJ lead
Group B - Mizhan sweep
 
NEWSFLASH

Just returned from recce trip. Left Mobil Jln Kucing station @ 2:20pm. Yazmeen and I in my car. Traffic was heavy, but we managed to do the route in about 40 mins, reaching cable car restaurant around 3pm, never exceeding 140kmh. The road IMHO is fine, most corners are doable...some need to slow down la. We will have fun on 20th!!!

And for the record, this won't be a free for all go crazy drive...anyone wanting to do that pls break away from the pack or leave earlier/later. Within the convoy, rules apply. Will go fast enough for fun, but the track requires negotiating, so alls well that ends well.

We don't promote racing on public roads... Its gonna be controlled.. I didn't instill sarcasm but mere a little humour..

Simple itinerary for the drive..

7.00 am Gather up at Mobil Jalan Kuching heading up north. (Next to ex Macro and now Tesco Extra. Just after USF )

7.10 am Safety and route briefing by SSMANN and Mizhan

7.15 am We're off via Ulu Yam road. Late comers will have to catch up.

8.xx am Cable Car restaurant for breakfast, depending what time we reach up in Goh Tong Jaya. (No time limiit as we go at our own pace)

x.xx am Photo shoot some where where there is an empty carpark and SSMANN can show his drift skills..If not we see him tonggeng..

Depending on what time we finish our breakie and TCSS, we will vote on the return trip route. Highway or thru Ulu Yam or other alternative routes.

Location of Mobil. Look for the alphabet "B"

I would humbly ask each of you to ponder and adhere to this points;

1) Please make sure your car is fit to be on the road. All fluids are filled, Tires in good condition and filled, All lights are working and also please ensure that your brakes are in good condition.
2) Petrol or diesel is filled as there is no stop for gas during the trip up and down
3) Enough touch and go credits just in case
4) Know your car and your driving limits. There is no prize for being the fastest, best drifters, being daredevil or what not.
5) Be safe at all times.
6) Do not terrorize the road and endanger other motorist and pedestrian as we will go through some kampung's and public areas.
7) Even though this is not the official drive, please uphold the club name and the brand.
8) Car wash before the trip and we might be in for a photo shoot.
