3.2 liter engine upgrade...

Hi all,

Are there HiOp stroker kits for the M54 2.2litre engine?
Mine is a face lifted E39 520
If so can stroke up to 3.2 litre?
How much hp wd that be?

Also what is the parts required ?(other than the ones that come with
the stroker kit)
I heard from somewhere that also need to change the airbox &
torque converter

yes, you can stroke it up to 2.3L without rebore the block within budget RM2k

Eh brad, who u want to racun, your engine already 2.7 what............after riding in ding's car u want to get 2.0l and stroke it izzit...........

Nikki, if you want to catch up with ding's car you'll need to change to SR or RB like your e24.

Calvin, to stroke from b20 to b23, is it simply changing cams and pistons as the only difference between the b20 and the b23 is the stroke length (66 vs. 78.6mm). Bore diameter and the compression is the same issn't it.

How much is left on the bridge between the two adjacent bores? look very very thin for a gasket to go on that......less 5mm?

am sure there's a solution but just curious - snap the pix of the gasket!

only auto b20 i know are kinaka's and jipsters.......

nik b23 can be stroked up to 2.5,2.7,2.8,2.9,3.0 but requires you to bore the block and other stuff.

anything can be done la you just need all the parts, i am still curious on the 3.2 L part AFAIK m20 cannot be stroked up to 3.2L
