As we all have read, the DSG works by having 2 clutch and so another is always engaged, enabling smooth upshifts. Zeroshift works on the same principle but somehow eliminates the loss in torque, however temporary.I just got myself the June 2005 issue of Racecar Engineering which has an article detailing Zeroshift's technology. Excellent bedtime reading
