Hey guys, just to share with you another tiring but fruitful rim cleaning session. First time I actually clayed all 4 rims in one go, and boy, was it tiring! Now I know how tiring ICEMAN13 gets whenever he clays his BBSes...
I personally spent about 20mins per rim; which pales into insignificance when compared to the effort poured in by ICE for his rims. Anyways, the claying actually helped remove the brownish residue on my rims, which couldn't be removed whether using ONR or a brush. I suspect the marks came about after I used the Megs All Wheel Cleaner on the brake discs and didn't rinse off the rims properly.
From far, the rims look 'clean', but upclose... Can you see those brownish stains?
Taken from a slightly further distance
They're quite unsightly.
Weapon of choice for today? PG Clay No. 1, a small pail of water, and a spray bottle containing Osren APC diluted with water. [thanks KC!

Looking way cleaner now right?
Much cleaner after claying.
Remember Before?
After...
Happy with the end result. Coated the rims with a layer of Turtle ICE Polish. Felt too sayang to use the Gold Class Wax on the rims.
