I recently got a new E70 X5, and felt that during driving in the wet at 90km/h and above, the car gives a feeling of unstable and hydro planning. A 'snake' feel.Brought it back to Auto Bavaria and they said nothing's wrong.New car, new tyres, and I am being over taken by a 600cc Kancil in the wet! What is this!http://www.bmwtirenoise.com/ Blames on the BMW XDrive system and RunFlat tyres.Does anyone have similar experience?

I have not experience this kind of problem for both the X5 and X3 at 90 km/h to 110 km/h. But maybe the puddles are deep in your case. Different road, different rain fall, different conditions.

I ran the X3 at higher speed without any problems in the rain on the highway.

I would agree if it was deep puddle, but the road was just wet without puddles. My car felt all over the place.
