My 20 year old E30 318i touched 230kph before..... downhill... hehehe...
 
200kph on a straight road is not fast but in corners, sometimes my palm sweat.. :afraid:

Only if the car doesn't give u enuf feedback and confidence...
 
almost anyone can drive fast on straight...real driver do it on corners....

and for this I haven't seen anyone in the club that could pull away from our fellow members E39 523i when comes to winding roads...

I have confidence in the car but not on other road users that swerve into your lane for no reason and you can't jam brake in the corner!!! :13:

exactly, some of them like to keep at right lane at a speed of "110km/h", very obedient to the law! and they will cry foul when others flash them to make way. They claim they follow the law!

Actually to strictly follow the law, "keep left unless overtaking"

wah u so terror ah... drive at 200kph on a not-so-clear road??? I only go above 160 if the road is clear and that i know I can slow down in time for any 'intruder' into my lane...

Tell me about it. I was once given a finger & hard stare from an elderly ah pek for flashing him to give way when he was travelling at speed limit of 80km/h on Penang bridge. Hehe...
 
if got "stick" to play around....then baru syok layan corner...
with autobox...its quite scary to sapu corner kaw kaw...

Flick on the manual mode or my preference, "S" mode, correct gear is picked automatically for every corner.. Both hands on the steering and focus in aiming the car or exit.. :4:

wahh....kaki jugak nie....hehe
since i used to drive manual before...feel that autobox response a bit late when u need power thru out corner...which lead to loose of grip during corner
mau main manual mode...takut gearbox hancur laaa....huhu

If fast = dangerous, then you should seriously consider a Kancil NA 660 auto, max speed takes 5 km downhill with tailwind to reach 140kph, guarantee selamat, by your definition la.

Ever wonder why BMW only speed cut at 250kph.. no safe?! JDM speed cut at 200kph.. very safe?!

If 110kph is safe and save, then you are driving a wrong car and every car that's available in the market today is illegal including the hybrids because they too are capable of beyond 110kph.

The way I look at it, we should be matured and responsible enough to know when to and when not to speed.

If I ask you to jump off the building and you jump, then very sorry lor..

Talking about "hilang nyawa", I do not believe there's such thing called "accident". I'm a believer of "Everything happens at the right time, at the right place, to the right person", if your time is "up", you drive slow also opposite car will come and whack you..

Sorry if I sounded harsh or offended anyone but seriously, we are talking about Bah Kut Teh and suddenly someone start talking about cholesterol.. we are talking about partying and you ask us to go home to take early rest..

.. and Steve Jobs is guilty of driven the technology too fast.. :(
