Hi. I'm putting up my E39 for sale alongside the E90 320d. See which one gets sold first. Some details:
Year 2000 UK model with sunroof
A made in Germany CBU model
Le Mans Blue (originally made for E39 M5)
2.5-litre M54 double-vanos engine producing 192 bhp
Forumers will know the M54's value over the M52 found in earlier E39
Mileage just under 122k miles or 195k km, averaging 10k a year
I have had this car since 2007, so I have complete service record for the past 12 years.
Car is maintained by top BMW specialists
Vanos seals have been changed, it has new aircond compressor and cooling coil (major dashboard out job)
Transmission has been rebuilt.
The car has never had overheating as I look after the cooling system ie. fan, thermostat, rubber hoses
Runs on Koni Sports adjustable suspension paired with Eibach Pro-Kit springs, a combo tried and proven for comfort and superb handling.
The E39 was engineered for the German highway, so it does high speed highway driving effortlessly yet handles the twisty roads like Genting Highlands with ease
I lost count of the number of airbags and speakers built into this car. So many of them. Seriously over-engineered.
On that note, the E39 was built with such high torsional rigidity that when the E60 came out, the new 5-series had no improvement in that department.
Staggered original BMW sports rims (style 66). 235/17/45 front, 255/17/40 rear.
Odometer pixel is perfect on this car since day 1. Missing pixel is a common issue with this model but this particular one is great.
Car headlight is clear (has been treated by bro Yazmeen) and protected with film to prevent future dulling.
Taillights and fender lights are white as per normal Euro model.
Although an old car, there is truly nothing for you to repair as it has been maintained with lots of TLC.
Asking RM28k negotiable.
Please PM or Whatsapp me at 012-3798652.
