WTB - Used 245/40/17

Earlier on I had my rear on the standard size, 245/40/17. Then I changed to 245/45/17 (your rear will increase in height a little) when my 245/40/17 went bald. Now I'm back on 245/40/17 which I bought in Klang just last month for RM600 with 80% thread. Good buy :top:

That's a fair price bro ... I think i need to head out to klang and check out the tire shops :4:

My 2 front PS3 225/45R17 bought 2 years ago for about RM510/pc, dunno what's the price now though.. My rear is on Nexen N8000, only RM375/pc..

How much u prepared to pay for the so called 70~80% tread used tyre?

May i know which shop did you get your Nexen N8000 bro and what size? If 245/40/17 then i say that's very cheap ... I got CSC3 with more than 70% for 180 a piece for 225/45/17 from tth :4: how much i'm prepared to pay largely depends on the condition of the tires. It's one of those months when we're having lean times :4:

Compare to used tyre, GT or Nexen are alternative new tyre u can consider.

Quick Save USJ quoted me Nexen N6000 for RM498 per piece for 245/40/17 ... A good price i think. Still reading the reviews for the Nexen.

Was quoted RM370 by a tire shop in Jln Ipoh for a pc of Nexen N8000 225/45R17. The lowest so far. Most shops quoted RM390-400 per pc, but stocks are running low lately as these tires are selling like hot cakes. Met a Lancer GT owner replacing his old Toyo C1S with these. Yokohama C-drive2 is RM380 per pc.

B33m3r, I remember calling QuickSave 2 months ago and was quoted RM450/pc* for 245/40/17 of GT Radials tyres.

Which shop in Jalan Ipoh? I'm planning to change my front 215/45/17 to the actual size 225/45/17 soon.

Jooi Seng in Klang is selling for RM340 per pc.

This are Y-Rated and has some good reviews. Wonder how they fair against Nexen.

Update: GT HPY matches Nexen N8000 performance with a longer wear rate.
