WTB E46 318i or 325i

Dear all,

I am looking to buy my first BMW.

Thinking of getting either the E46 318i 2.0L or 325i 2.5L. If possible the M-sport version.

Car must be well maintained by previous owner and hopefully with a very decent mileage.

I read somewhere the 318i engine N42B20 gives a lot of problems i.e engine oil consumption, etc. I would definitely go for a higher cc and power of the 325i if I can afford own and maintain it.
