wta(noob question)

WTA..currently running on 18" rim, with 225/45/18 tyres..how do i know what other tyre profiles that i can use?(yeah, hopefully without knowing the offset, rim width etc, expecting maybe some kind of rules of thumb )can i use for example 245/40 /18 tyres?zz..sorry for unclear topic...intended to write wta: tyre profiles, but somehow got deleted after adding the noob question part.lol..n cant change subject d
