Whistling Brakes

Help! My brakes make a very peculiar whistle when I'm driving at slow speeds. I sounds as if some air is escaping from the brake servo area. It stops whenever I step on the brake or when I'm speeding up. Its really loud and sometimes female bike riders give me the funny look :stupid: when I'm running besides them. Help!

Quite possible your piston is jammed. Get it checked out la there's repair kits available for this kinda issue.

err... why only FEMALE bike riders attracted to your car's whistling sound ar? Did it occur to you that maybe they gave you the look has nothing to do with your brake sound but the handsome stud behind the wheel of a bmw? Hehehe.

had the same prob as describe..apparently there's a very small stone stuck between the pad and the rotor...
on initial check, there's no visible scratch on the rotor, after removing the pads, the stone came off.
no sound after that.

Hahaha c-square, its really funny when sometimes the car even makes a feeee-weeet sound! Like car like driver LOL!!

Gosh, I hope its not really seriuos. Cuz, I really don't have the chance to send it in untill a few more days when I'm bit less busy... Do you think is the air or stone that's causing the problem?
