My friend initialM,

Hahah I agree la.. but I mention budget mah.. NCT 3/5 in the range of RM250 each mah CSC2 is above RM350 each oh

Silverstone Kruser is even cheaper, I presume..... I heard and many local luxury car use them.

"New average tyres are better and safer then old used tires"

New is better than used one unless u got from fren and know the history.

I dun think this guy on budget lar. Rdtax 3.5CC, 18" rim. Dislike hard tyre.
The best is Continental. German tyre for German car:rock:

Ya lorr... come to think of it, you are right. :top:

Just address me as Mr Maniam, tq

I was thinking of Pirelli or Michelin or Falken or Bridgestone or Yokohama or Conti.
Which model to consider? What are you guys using? Is it better than your old ones or have you made a terrible error?

The 18 inch tayar is going to cost me a bomb so I might as well be fussy and choose the safest comfortable tayar.

Michelin PS 2 is probably the best for a beemer. I had it once and loved it. It cost a bomb. If this is too much, then get the Falken452 (some refer it as a poorman's PS 2). Goh Swee Hin Bhd in Glenmarie, SA sells Pirelli range. Currently I am on Bridgetone 050. Can't recommend this tyres coz of it's annoying noise levels after 1000k of driving from new. :burnout:

keras , good for those drive like orang gila , can last longer and not so easy to damage tyre if hit curb

Sounds like it's meant for Indonesian market... Anyway, those who drive like orang gila will need a whole lot more grip... keras is not the way to go...

Chill bro, BTW congrat on yr new CSC3. What size you bought & how much?

Toyo T1-R 235/50/18 F , 255/50/18 R
Very good value for money.

But the new Mich Preceda 2's are quite good also.

At 18's for 7 series Contis , PS 2s or Bridgestone RE050s will 1k plus per tyre.
