ha ha ha this shop has got a classic taste ....they see how the owner dress ..if comes is shorts and slipers ...means chekai ... but comes with cufflings, long sleves ..mean qui-lo ...kanisai and both styles has got different way of treatment ....

i would vouch on AH kit at kg melayu subang ..the best so far interms of price and workmanship and never see what you come with ....

I've been to both, Ah Kit the best, he listens, he suggests and he caters to your EXACT wants..
The guys at Carbi however are just always "too busy" to listen to anything you got to say/ask.
Or better still, everythings outta stock or come back another time..I don't like that!

I dont work for Ah Kit nor is he paying me commission to advertise for him in here, this is purely my own opinion and based on my experience, doesn't relate to anything said by anyone dead or alive..

Thanks for all your feedback, I've asked Ah Kit abt suede before but he only does fabric it seems. Will be visiting Carbi this weekend and will also be dropping by Recaro in Sunway. However Recaro gave me the following indicative quote;

Suede - RM600 sq/m
Alcantara - RM900 sq/m

Planning to swing by Recaro this friday to check out their stock.

I ve sent my old W126 to CD for refurbishment of the wood panels.
So far, no real complains about them..

Jason, the guy who dealt with me was quite resourceful.

btw, would appreciate that TS can state the final outcome of the price and fitting.
I am interested to do my W140 ala Gangstar style

Was at the Recaro joint this morning and checked out their Alcantara/Suede/Fabric range. I like the idea of doing up the interior in Alcantara but the $ put me off. They only have 2 color choices of suede and microfiber and an entire book for fabric. Didnt go for fabric as their prices were higher than Top Cushion or CD so finally settled for the recaro dynamica grey suede. Made the booking and they will be picking up my roof board, A, B, C pillars next week. Was told it would take 2-3 days to wrap. Once wrapped will send my ride in for the final installation. Meantime gotta start sourcing for the M5 black interior trim. They also mentioned that they can wrap the sun visor in suede also but will check out their workmanship.

I'm wondering if they will outsource the work to CD...lol...

Bro Replay, thank u for your good reply. Mind to attach a few photos for my viewing.

Fyi, mine's e39 M-sport Alcantara seat.

Due to countless of usage, the driver seat(right bucket cushion) alcantara tear off and have to re-wrap to avoid further damage into inner sponge. Did checked on Recaro Sunway webpage and found a few matchable Alcantara. Called them and will visit them to access the cost/workmanship whether can be complete within a day or have to stay overnight in KL. Plan to visit in a month or two. Shall update photos also then. Thanks again bro Replay
