This warning sign flash out whenevr i turn on/off my ignition key...since a week ago.."1. Brake light *"what should i do? brake lights ( including third brake light) checked; OK, brake fluid checked; OK oso..Thanks

IMHO, i think the brake sensor kaput, woo. did any brake srvce recntly??
maybe other sifus out there knows better.

it's telling you to check on yr brakes. :), so go to your friendly mech and ask him to check on your brake pads fr and bck.

I believe this has nothing to do with brake pads, "BRAKE LININGS' message will flash if your pads are worn, or the pad sensors at fault.

Most probably is time to change the brake light switch..., this switch tend to die fast on auto-transmmison car.

maybe you can try to dis-connect & re-connect the brake light switch.., hehe..I have 2 pcs of used switches for spare...

IMHO...

its happen a week before i change my front pad and sensor as i tho it's relate dto my thin pad but that indicator still flash in after that, so i guess its not becoz of brake pad or sensor.

Wan520.. btw where is that switch located? ii will try to gode gode with it.. if not i'll search for u next week.. errr at Btg rite?

The brake light switch is located behind your glove box. Yes, is on the passenger side!

But is not easy to access to that switch.., there is a piece of plaster cover very nicely protect the switch from an intruder...hehe..

Good luck.., yes, I at Btg. You have my no. rite? c u.

huh, that is another new thing i can get from this forum... cant wait to explore it soon after.. will update u soon wan sir...

.. still wondering on the function of that brake light switch.. Wan sir.. can u explain!
and now come the 'brake lining' indicator.. uwaaa... isit mean for rear lining since i just change my front's?

bikin pergi wurksyop lerr.... nanti zero to hundred boleh tapi hundred to zero...bungkus tahu!

rafamr,

For "BRAKE LINING", like i said, check the brake pad sensors, there are only 2 sensors, one is at front left wheel, and another at rear right wheel. Check whether are they properly connected, and check the pad sensors condition, did you also change front brake sensor recently?

For "1 BRAKE LIGHT", like I suggested, try to unplug the wire & plug in back to the brake light switch, if that does not help, try to change the switch.

Function of the brake light switch is when you press brake pedal, it will triggered this switch, and "ON" signal will be sent your brake lights. The signal will also send to Check Control Module & Transmission Control Module.

Boleh faham ke?
