Guys,Planning to drop my ride( E36 318i) just one inch at the fronts. Any spring recommendatiions on stock shocks which will help me get this drop lenght?Reason just one inch is I can't be asked to go sideways and crawl over the numerous speedbumps all over Klang Valley. Any comments?

There is one h&r spring that drops by 1 inch. if not mistaken its called oe sport spring. the sport spring lowers it by 1.5 inch.

If you really want to avoid the bottom of your car to hit the bumps, you should forget about lowering it. in fact if you want to lower your car, you should also change your standard absorbers. just my opinion.

OPP,

Stock shocks and lowered springs are not exactly a match made in heaven whether in an UDM or any other car. Your shocks are gonna wear out sooner than usual. Perhaps you shud consider matching the lowered springs with Bilsteins, Sachs or Koni's ??? Just a thought.

Cheers.

I have taken the liberty to move this thread to the correct section of the forum. Hope you guys don't mind.

Cheers!
