What Are The Diff Between A 2005 525i And A LCI 525i??

Dear sifus.Is there really a big difference between both the old 525i and the LCI 525i? Is it just the cosmetic with some new facelift bumper, lights and switches or is it a completely different car.Cheers to all..........

the old one, m54 engine wiv black cover, newer model got diff engine N52 if not mistaken wiv silver top cover

I notice that. Is the magnesium engine. Besides the increase of horse power from 180 from the M54B25 which is from the late year 99 E39 double Vanos, the N52 has around 200+ hp right? Other that that if not mistaken is the safety features I guess. What about reliability? Especially the updated Idrive from the LCI models. Are there any huge diff apart from extra buttons for the Idrive.
