Hi Guys....Need some urgent help. Can anyone tell me where I can get a set of all the warning labels for the E39?I'm looking specifically for the fuel warning label that is on the inside of our fuel filler flap - the one that tells you what type of fuel the car uses.Sent my car in for some polishing and paint touch up - the paint shop nicely painted over the sides of the warning sticker. I "tak tahan" seeing the paint overlapping with the sticker. Want to rip it off and get the whole flap repainted, but I can't seem to find the sticker to replace the original.Anyone with leads? Many thanks guys!

Don't think you can buy the label. You could go to chop shop and buy a used filler flap and have it repainted.

It'll be the same problem - the paint around the sticker will have a rough edge. :(

Any pics? I cant seem to picture it. Is it fully painted over or did it have a messy sides?

Cant cover with masking tape before repainting?

Hey bro haywire. They basically taped over the sticker and painted the flap, but the paint seeped through the edges of the tape AND sticker and now there's lumpy paint all around the fuel warning sticker. Damn leceh man! No pics cos the car is back at the paintshop.

They've agreed to refinish the flap, but they don't know where to find a replacement sticker. And I'm a sucker for originality, so I want the sticker back....:( small issue but I'm quite upset about it lah bro! Especially when I told them specifically NOT to paint the flap!

Okay got the picture now....paint seeping. Thanks for the explanation.

I can see herbert idea is the best one.

Otherwise, design and print out yourself by printer..:4:

Been checking out the US BMW Forums. The sticker is supplied as part of the fuel door assembly replacement part...
Looks like you'll have to buy the WHOLE fuel door just to get the damn sticker!

get a used jap/euro lid from a chop shop and re spray properly...the sticker will be sure inside...

easy as A B C....

Bro tweiboon - what can I say - I'ma sucker for originality LOL!
My car still has the original BMW run-in procedure warning sticker on the windscreen! :p

if you don't mind a bit of hassle and substantial investment, shoot photos of your desired decals and ask a sticker shop to reproduce them.

otherwise, regularly visit ebay.co.uk to search for 'BMW E39 decals'
